At this play day, our member Teri Geever will introduce participants to watercolor painting techniques that are suitable for creating grounds for calligraphy. We will begin with basic watercolor washes - a flat, a graded wash, and a partial wash. We will then build additional layers over the basic washes. The additional layers may be representational or abstract.
- This play day is suitable for beginners, some prior calligraphy experience is encouraged.
- The event is free, but your RSVP is required to secure your spot. Attendance is limited.
- A supply list will be provided upon registration.
